The “Easy Rider” Ride

The Lifestyle Riders or what some have now called us "The Wild Bunch" are planning a ride June 19th to Slingers & Sage Brush Cantina.

This one is going to be legendary.

The meeting place will be at the Lifestyle Rider Club House in Palmdale for the High Desert folks. If your joining us on this ride from the south bay or LA then you can meet us at "Slingers" Bar (5017 Lewis Rd, Agoura Ca. off the 101 and Cheesboro rd. see link above).

Kick stands up at 11am from the Club House.  We will be riding over to Slingers, in Agoura to meet more riders at around 1230 /1PM. We may be riding over to the Sage Brush Cantina after Slingers depending on how the party is at Slingers and what the group wants to do.

Thanks to Dino, he has made it possible for us to have the chance of a lifetime to take a personal tour of the Paisano Publication building. For those of you who do not know the significance of that name.. It is the headquarters of "Easy Rider" Magazine.

For those who still do not get it, simply said ..the Muslims got their Koran. While Bikers have "Easy Rider" magazine. It stirs emotions and instills beliefs to them both. So in essence were heading to the Biker Mecca the only difference is we enjoy looking at naked women and if they do they have to kill themselves. (So ladies flash a Muslim whenever possible)..

Dino is friends with one of the editors and has graciously allowed our band of misfits to take a walk down the same halls once graced by "David Mann" and countless biker models and legendary bike builders like "Indian Larry."

Not sure about you but, that is huge and we can thank Dino for setting this up. For those of you who do not know it Dino knows some famous people including Lil Debbie who graced the cover of the August 1984 edition of the magazine (see pic in the link gallery). Apparently all 3 stay in touch after all this time.

After the tour we will be checking out the new biker bar called Slingers. If the group wants to go to the Sage Brush Cantina just a few miles away then we can ride over.

It is one of those ultimate biker bars, the perfect atmosphere to kick back indoors and out listening to live music, eating great food and checking out the sexy waitresses serving you drinks. They also have a menu of every tequila which you can sample for a few bucks.

After Slingers & the Cantina the party continues. Cat n Dan have once again opened the doors to our Club House to end what can only be the perfect day. The parties at the club house have gone on all night and into the morning so there is no worries of getting home on Saturday night.

If you go to the club house for the party were asking that you bring a munchy to share. It is byob or bring your favorite drink. (There is an Albertsons store a mile from the club house).

You won't want to miss this ride & party so set aside everything else and mark the date.
